You'll have to pick them up, or meet. I wouldn't know how to begin to ship chicks.

I really don't know, looking forward to finding out though. What a great variety! What color will (should might be a better word?) those blue/yellow ones turn out? So cute!!!
I've never shipped chicks either.
As for the blue/yellow chicks.....do you know which of your flock produced them? Could they have been from your pale blue male you've posted pics of here?
They look like blue slate turkey poults so I'd think they'll be blue. See pics here: http://www.porterturkeys.com/slateselfblue.htm .......you will have to post regular pics so we can see.
Here are pics I took last week as I got home from work and the flock was out front.
Enjoying some free ranging in the front
Five year old Anna looking as good as ever
Five year old Asta.........now sitting on 9 eggs![]()
Ignore the dandelions.......if it is green, is it lawn out here![]()

The grass looks wonderful, I have a lot more dandelions.
I have 5 hens and 4 roosters hanging together. The pale blue male is not one of them, he's with some odds and ends for now. I'll be processing the four I just used, then the current hens and pullets from the hatch will go to the pale blue one, and one other rooster to be named. I think I currently have 9 LF roosters, I want to be down to 2 or three. There is a blue with red wings rooster with the current group though. I'll try to get a picture someday when we are home. We've been gone all day today, same tomorrow and Saturday, it's all pleasure though.![]()
Congrats on the new chicks......very cute! Here are few of my new chicks. I had 9 of 11 hatch a week ago. They are growing and changing with lightening speed. They are awesome!!
