Icelandic Chickens

Quote:
I have two more coming from the next hatch (2/21) and yes, they do better with companions. They can be difficult to hatch so I gambled and took this one first knowing more were due to hatch soon.

I ran my errands and came home to 8 little fuzzies. On a slightly optimistic/positive note; one of the first to pip took such a long break I thought she had stopped but now that her siblings have kicked her around I can see down in the hole she made and see that she is pretty squiggly. I think she might just be taking time to finish getting ready before she makes her grand entrance, fashionably late of course

I have the baby brooder set up and the lights are on so it should be warm enough to put some babies in shortly. I can't wait to break them out so I can get to know them better and get some good pictures.

I think something from Mary's house must be contagious. I seem to have a fainting chick
