What a beautiful place you have found to live in the meantime of all this mess you are dealing with. I hope you can find some little joys in your chickens - I know you are overwhelmed at the moment.

Good to hear from you Cheryl. Having been through similar frustration all I can say is hang in there, this too shall pass. Your cottage sounds like a nice reprieve from the chaos, that shot of the moon is amazing.

Find the joys where you can, they make the other stuff easier to bare.

Thats a real bummer Cheryl, but you are working your way through it all, and that is great. Stay your course and let us know whats happening. Great assemblage of chickens that you have! I envy you.

Cheryl it is nice to have you back even briefly. I hope that your troubles resolve quickly and favorably because I know the strain of long, drawn out battles. It looks like you found a picturesque spot to retreat but I am sure your heart is still at your home. What I can tell you sure is that people are thinking about you and wishing the best for you. I know this because my husband is one of them. Sometimes just out of the blue he says "I can't believe that happened to Cheryl. I would be so bummed out."

I would take some chickens off your hands but with the easter Hatch coming and what I already have I am rapidly approaching the limit for my five acres. Never thought I would say that!

If you find yourself in need of some fun, maybe Kelly and I can meet you somewhere for lunch and chicken gossip. Until then take care of yourselves and know that things will work out.

Yesterday DH was driving me to Home Depot to get fencing supplies. We were traveling down the aisle to get to a parking space. All of a sudden some lady in an SUV cuts through two parking spaces and slams into us causing almost $2,000.00 worth of damage to our car. She got out and apologized and took full responsibility. We exchanged information but couldn't photograph the cars in place because some other guy was having a tantrum because he was blocked in. Today we received word that she now claims she was in the driving lane we we cut across the empty parking spaces! She completely now puts her car where ours was and ours where her's was, illegally pulling through parking spots. Hubby is in shock because she "was so nice." I told him at the time that she was going to lie and blame him! I so hate liars. I called her agent today and told him we were on the way to Home Depot to get the surveillance video and requested that she ask her if she still wants to stick to her story. An investigation has been opened.

Anyway, our insurance will pay all but our deductible and I plan to be at Small Claims Court when they open tomorrow to file a claim against her. It is not about the money. I HATE liars. Even the CHP says the damage to our car supports our version as does the claims adjuster. Sorry to vent but I am fuming!
