There must be a way to make this bad luck work for me. Maybe I can stand next to a ATM, hoping it will suddlenly rust and dump all it's cash on the ground?
 
Thats great Mary !!! With what I have I should wind up with at least a dozen pullets, that will make a very nice flock. I am going to be building a couple of two tiered sorta Nella brooders, 8' long each tier 3' high and 3' wide and divided into two pens so will have 8 4' by 3' by 3' pens, so I can keep at least 8 singly or roosters and pairs in the smaller pens. Trying to keep as much diversity as I can. Plus double up some on traits that I want to protect and preserve.

I was going to move the chicks this morning out to the chicken house but will wait til eve, it is already over 80 and humid, T-storms forcast for later, we do need rain.

Kim , how many Icelandics were you wanting to rehome? I am still interested in the shank feathered roo, it could make a good drive some weekend for my son and I to get down there.
