Icelandic Chickens

I wanted to show you why I think I'm in part, fascinated by your Icelandics, Mary. This is my Tux, lost recently to what looked to be a stroke, at almost 4 years of age. We also lost her two look-alike sisters to other things. They were Silkie/Cochin over BR, so not as exotically patterned as yours. Here is Tux, next to a pic you posted of one of your girls that reminds me of my Tux. Hope you see what I see:

I called them the Poufy Head Sisters and I wouldn't have taken $1000 for any one of those precious little hens.

Mary out of all of those blondes in this group, all, but maybe one have splash on them and mottled wings, the one I am still looking at,

still it looks like this hatch is going to be much lighter, one maybe black, and the little silver, two very dark chipmunks and 7 light ones, going to be a LOT of color in this group, Issison has gotten picked up several times, he calms down quicker now then at first.

these kids are fun !!

There are only 2 questions.

I use as a outside feeder a 24" square piece of plywood with 6" sides on it. The chickens jump in and eat no mess no feed on the ground. They very seldom mess in it. If it rains I just dump it out and let them clean up the wet feed and they really like it wet. I don't let it get molding or rotten.

I want to know the questions too!

Will you love them? Will you keep them pure? Will you spread the word about Icelandic chickens?

Yes, yes, and yes.

Oops is that cheating if I tell her all the answers?
