Icelandic Chickens

Just got home from work and got the birds all locked up. Caught coon # 14 last night.

Mary, I was thinking I would use 0.5cc PCN. Kola is amazing. Here she is, in the house with me, and she still laid her egg yesterday and today! SWEET, SWEET girl ! ! !

Random useless knowledge of the day: "Tourists visiting Iceland should know that tipping at a restaurant is considered an insult. "

Re to coons, if anyone is still taking them in the fall I read that prices are going up this year, and large primes will be bringing $25 each or better, which helps skinning and drying to be worth it. Could be worth finding a trapper or hunter if you dont want to handle them.

But most of us are 3 mos from there.

Mary Lukka did great in these ones, who is the Roo?

I do love the variety in the colors .

Life is good and better with Icelandics !

A special Sunday dinner. Darn, and the guests left yesterday. All they got was chicken and noodles (MY home grown chicken), and fresh eggs to take home. Guess they missed out.

By the way, if you have never eaten home grown chicken, you are missing out on the best broth (and meat, of course) ever!

I am so confused. Is "home grown chicken" a nice way to say "raccoon meat"?

'cause I eat my home grown chickens, but raccoons are rare here.

No coon meat here. YUK!
Home grown chicken is just that ..... my own chickens raised here and processed.
