So I took the juvies off of the north lawn and put them in the "Icelandic Pen"... the other birds will begin to be moved to their respective coops and pens with time.

The little rosecombed black Icelandic (Jörðin) always finds his way out to free range. He's tiny. He walks around with the broody hen and her 4 chicks and acts like he is the cock of the walk! And he's not even 12 weeks old!

So I was giving bread to the broody and her chicks. The broody wasn't happy with him taking bread so she pecked him and he beat her up!!! Icelandics are FIESTY! I may keep him for a while... he and Vindur can take care of the two hens until I get more raised.

My rock dwellers are getting brave. This is not a very good picture but they have started climbing the rocks and sitting. Reminds me of the look-outs on the old westerns.
