Icelandic Chickens

I had no idea there were so many Icelandics in America... perhaps we need to start the IBC (Icelandic Breeders Club) or at the very list, a state by state roster so that we can continue to keep the genetics diverse.

Mahonri those are great ideas, could we get a stickey on this thread for listing name and state/area? I'd visit breeders in the several state area to me. I have my favorites but diversity is crucial.

Daria has started a great webpage with this info on it. You can message her to be added

I would suggest also adding to the viking site whether eggs or chicks are available, pick up or can ship for each member.

I am not interested in shipping, until I learn a lot more about, it but would be interested in homing pairs for pick up.

Take a bow Daria, very nice site.

I didnt know if eggs coming constituted a flock so put myself as a supporting member.

Looks like most of us will be under the Sigrid line. Bless her big heart.

I dont suppose a picture of a hovabator would be considered a flock??
