Well, I caved in and set those two adorable little Icelandic pullet eggs in my incubator with the Easter hatch. I think they may be the first eggs from the chicks that are a cross between my Sigrid and Marty birds. I am weak.

All chickens like mustard. I read that someone had success by using, "apple bitter," in the egg bomb. It is found in the equine section.

Well, yesterday I worked outside alot. I saw an Icelandic egg outside on the ground in their pen. I knew it was there, but was busy. I went into the pen about an hour later to get it. It was gone! Today, I got only one egg. Yesterday only one egg. I don't know what is going on. They were laying like crazy, and now this.

Did she start sneezing when she ate it? Usually they will eat a few but eventually they get the idea.

Drat! I didnt see her eat the mustard bomb. But I have several more made up.
I will try to find the horse bitters that Kathy suggested. We have 3 feedstores in town. Surely one of them will have it.

Its hard to find something a chicken wont eat and enjoy.
