Ryan, I shipped your eggs today. I requested a pick up of the package at my house. The substitute carrier showed up and I took the box out to the truck and handed it carefully to her. She then tossed it over her shoulder into the back of the truck!

Those eggs are HARDY. I know I started with a goodly number, but still hatched 50% of them... isn't that the norm for shipped eggs.

The chicks are just gorgeous... and I'm already discerning the roos.

Congratulations Mahonri , beautiful chicks !

I hope I can get 50%, I will be tickled pink ! That will make the beginning of a very nice flock ! More then 50% and I will be beside my self,

which is a great trick if you can do it.

I think I would have had words with that driver,

I know its in the nature of the job, but so much rides on those little boxes, or in them, more accurately.

Beautiful Babies that you have there, love the expressions on their faces, 'whats up' ? Awfully easy to make lap pets when they are like that.

I am going to be keeping track of how much feed that mine use, spring is creeping in, saw a night crawler on top of the ground this morn when walking the hound, robins at least now have something to eat.

After the totes mine go into wire dog crates, the big ones, then outdoors once fledged into the dog kennels. By end of the summer it will be expanded to give as much grass as possible. I am really interested in their ranging abilities, even though they have to be in a run here. I need to find another place.

Very pretty, What we're you telling them that they were listening to so intently? It looks like school with the good kids in the first row and the rest of us in the back! Nice picture!
