This is the one that is going to pay my daughter back for all she put me through as a teenager! She'll be 14 next month. Yes, her hair is blue and she has on more eyeliner than Elvira. Pass the chocolate.

Cute granddaughters ladies... My oldest is a girl.. 15 next month, I'm all for the locking up till 30 plan!!

The 4 chicks are doing great and starting to act like everyone has described their Icelandic chicks as acting... ie rambuctious etc.. I think they must have just had a rough trip.. It took these 4 chicks three full days to "recover" Hopefully, the ones from Mary will have an easier trip!!

Kathy, you're welcome to send another box to Idaho if you ever find yourself with excess chicks you just don't know what to do with.. I don't think you have anything I wouldn't like.. I'd especially like some out of the eggs I sent you if you decide to try hatching any of them instead of eating them all..

Only 4 more days till my Icelandics should hatch... I leave Thursday to go to Seattle and won't be home till really late Friday night.. I'm expecting them to all be out and fluffy by the time I get home..

Had to say it,

truth is that they are beautiful, congratulations to all of the antecedents !

The fabulous six are daily becoming more fabulous, the littlest chipmunk may be the prettiest of the four, although Skjotur(Speedy) has a crest, and dark spashes on the side of his light chest, he is going to be really purty, he is also the first to use the roost, a pvc pipe crossways through the cage wires.

The little black with white chest is getting red on its wings, and a couple white primaries, have one of the 3 amigo chipmunks that is very sweet, comes to the door when I open it and likes the head and chest stroked.

It looks like several different different comb types, only one crested so far. But Blar is coming, that can change .

Gonna be a great Icelandic year !

Wel my incubators are filled with SOMMER'S eggs (and the first batch Mary sent) so it is ONLY fair she offer up her bator in return. LOL!

Actually, Sommer was in Hawaii visiting her in-law, so I had to recieve the eggs she wanted.

She just got back last night.
