Icelandic Chickens

Congratulations Shawn, sorry I can't say more.

I am just checking in to say that the condition of my baby emu took a turn for the worse today and I made the gut wrenching decision to have him euthanized. Michael is driving him to the vet right now as I couldn't bring myself to do it. I'll be back when I get myself together, maybe tomorrow.

Mary I am terribly sorry, I dont know what else to say, we all know that you loved the little guy, so, he was loved, more so then a great many who are here far longer.

May the Creator give you Peace and Comfort, and the strength to keep on loving all of your creatures .

Oh Mary, I'm so sorry.

Hi all, just checking in, as you know I live in Oklahoma, we had some devastating tornadoes last evening, we live near Stillwater and they had a small tornado there with minimal damages, I will ask for thoughts and prayers for those who lost homes, family, pets and for the safe return of the three year old little girl that was still missing as of when I went to bed last night!!! We are fine here where I am, wind and rain is all we got!!! Thanks, Lynn

We've used a number of breeds to improve size and production, but what it comes down to is we don't have enough land, time, or money to make it more of a pet project. We do have some more serious helpers, but we aren't at the point where we can do off-shots... (Although, I do have a group of culls that may end up being the "banty" Alohas)

Gimmie 3 or 4 years, I will get you some pea-combed babies with featherd shanks.
