Hmmm, I dunno. I only once moved a broody with her chicks, and it worked ok, but she had had the chicks for a couple days before I moved them.

Well, you could try it! If it works; great! If not, put her back.

I've only had one broody not accept chicks... and she was mean and attacked them. All the others have readily accepted chicks.

They are saying we won't have a High temp below 105 well into September. Hottest August I've experienced in Phoenix and I've been here over 24 years.

It's not so bad. 3 months of hot is worth 9 months of not-so-hot-and-maybe-nice.

I seriously think that you need to keep these five for their genes, so I can get some of their kids next year

they are unique !! Its going to be hard to wait to see how they develop and turn out.

Yes, that rooster is unique, and beautiful, one of your very finest is Blau, he has developed even better then I had hoped for.

The 'Soon' definition is not at all like the definition of 'is' , lets say I hope to get new pics this weekend, I see that my camera battery is charged, so lets hope for the best.

I thought that the smaller pic size was the only one possible, so will experiment with that, my eyes are way older then yours, I'm older then rain.

There are several genes that I want to add next year, one is the leg feathering, hopefully with at least a pair.

I am sure that as the next year or so develops we will see even more unique genes expressed.

Gotta wait, but its not going to be easy ! Mary the truck is the big chevy van, it will be loaded near solid but its the trailer that I will get pics of, I am trying ideas for the sign now for Jakes Ark, painted two pcs of ply circus red, and got some stick on mailbox letters I am moving around to see how they look best, I figure its just fair warning to folks to tell them a gun totin bible huggin rednecked backwoodsman Tea Partier is in their midst. I wish the young roos weren't so hard on them though! Some of my girl's crests are looking pretty ragged.
