In honor of the end of broody fever and needing to have a wisdom tooth extracted today I am having a GIVEAWAY on my blog. I think Mahonri put a curse on me or something.

I just prefer the broody raised chicks, all trained by experts, finest kind !!

But then I dont want to raise hundreds of chicks, about 20-30 or so next year would be fine.

My first giveaway entry.

I checked my broody earlier and two of the babies had fallen out of the nest box so I put them back. They can be seen here standing at Mama's rear end. The last two are still going strong, one zipping and one moving and peeping like crazy. So I did not move them tonight. Tomorrow will have to do. I did put a barricade in front of the nest box to keep the babies from falling out during the night.

Check out this happy little family of Lukka, her five babies and Pretty Boy! Isi is standing off to the right!
