Icelandic Chickens

Mary-yeah on the egg! I am jealous, I had some that hatched a few weeks before the Easter hatch and nothing so far.

I had just told my son I NEEDED son chocolate and you post your gift.

I will be going to the store in a little bit.

Kathy- will you adopt me so I can have some of all your lovely chickens?


Jake- have a fun and safe trip. The first things to unpack after the animals and a computer and the camera.

Taz, I checked the girls out this morning and it has to be the New Hampshire, Rusty. She has very red comb and wattles while the Barred Rock, Alice B's are still pinkish. She is a bit larger too. My mother will be happy to know that her namesake (Rusty) laid an egg before her mother-in-law's (Alice Bell) namesake. I am still in the will!
