Not all are mean Mary. My broody ameraucana girl was super sweet - my other 2 are flighty as he'll though.


Ever see a fully grown 24 week old Ameraucana fit through the 4 inch non climb fencing? One of my ameraucana's proved it can happen. I still don't know how she did it - and I saw it happen.

I have special eggs coming tomorrow I am very excited about.....Crele Chanteclers.
It has been a breeding project for the past year stemming from a single Cock bird that was shown here at the Monroe WFF show last spring...a spectacular birds!
Then we went nuts finding suitable hens..and now we have our first batch of eggs & see what will hatch!!!!!!!!

The Cock was GIVEN to a friend's little son..a 5 year old!!!!!!!!!!

So imagine how excited this fertility/test hatch is!!!!!!!!

OK, I have to go back to bad & elevate, elevate, elevate.
Tore all the tendons outta my L knee Tuesday, see an Ortho tomorrow..this is the second time.
It is ugly, the size of a cantalope, and hurts like the bloody dickens.
