So, now how do I tell hubby he has to whack all the other roos, and some of the hens? I think the Marans and Ameraucanas can stay, because I'll know which eggs theirs are so won't hatch them - I only keep them for my customers anyway.

I think I will go with the "Assortment." Then I can decide what kind I like best!

PLUS, they are cheaper, and I am poor.

Yeah, right! You will probably get an assortment sooner too. So are you going with the APA recognized assortment?

I think so. However, the Assortment (not the crossbred) might be kinda interesting, too. Hmmm, decisions....

OH, I know! I will get half APA assortment, and half assortment!

ALL of those that they sell are heritage and "natural mating," right?

Christmas came early folks. Our wonderful Sheriff Mary bought me some EXPENSIVE Swedish Flower Hen eggs for the NYD hatch!

I have just been overwhelmed. Boston is going to be getting me some Icelandic eggs, (He's hatching a bunch himself) I've got some EE eggs coming from Bargain and I've already saved a dozen of my own eggs (Ameraucanas) for a fertility test hatch.

What I can't fit, Laree and Meg will hatch for me.

DW seems a tad excited but she asked, "Do they have any idea how neurotic you get when you have incubators going and what they are putting me through?". I just smiled.

This time I've got an Ecoglow and a Laree brooder.... so she won't have chicks in the house, for long....

Just remember Kathy, the maximum they ship at one time is 80 poults so you'll probably have to do several different orders.
