So, my New Years announcement is that I am going to be a neighbor of Michelles , sorta.

I have been talking to folks about a place in Paxson, just off the Richardson Hwy , about a 200 miles east of Michelle. Sorta.

It was a while until I knew it really was available, but now it is, long term. It belongs to a long distance dog musher who lives in the Yukon, but he wont be needing it now, so I will be moving in, probably later April. If I had know for sure I would have moved there instead of here. But this had a slight edge for a VA hospital that specializes in a problem I have, but thats addressed now, and the North is beckoning.

I know at lot of the mushers up there, I used to do it in MI, and miss it, so I will most likely have a small recreational team.Its sure set up for them. Also great hunting and fishing there, and will have a garden.

Of course the Icees are going to be with me, and those of the feline persuasion. The last two days have had 100% eggs per the hens.

That is great news Jake. We should all live in a place that makes us happy and healthy. I prefer a warmer climate myself but if you love dog mushing I say go for it! Will you be taking the goats or is that climate too cold for them? I hope the ark is up for the trip to the tundra!
