Cute little emu.

Haven't had a roo for weeks and the neighbor called to complain today about the crowing rooster.

Looks like I'll never have one.

While out sitting with the chicks, I could hear a roo somewhere to the south and west crowing, but it wasn't coming from my yard.

I took this picture the other day and thought it was kind of cool. Audun doing his morning "full body shake and wake"!! Yes, all those light colored pullets are his daughters.

The Valentine's Day Hatch has a photo contest for your rooster "courting", NOT breeding, his hen(s). I was not able to get the "dance" pic but got this one and a "flapper" one that I will be saving for the future!!

Dar, Yikes! That's pretty bad when they can't even tell if the crowing was from your yard.
