Icelandic Chickens

YAY! Don't forget to whistle - think short, short, short, long.

That is almost what I whistle for my turkeys. Now I feel so bi-lingual

Mine are moving a lot, but not talking back to me. I can tell the difference when I tap them,so 3 out of 4 sounded. I am just to scared to wait 3 days or so until they hatch. I have been reading a lot and drilling a hole will ensure that they won't suffocate

DRILL A HOLE ? ? ? ? Are you kidding me???????????

Mary O'Brien, what have you got me into here???????

I posted this over on the Easter Hatch Thread... thought I'd post it here since I finally got around to going out and taking a pic as they got up to roost.

I got this beautiful specimen from expensive eggs hatched out by Laree for the NYD hatch and GIFTED to me by THE SHERIFF!

It's nice to have great friends.

THANKS MARY!!
Any guesses on the gender?

After I posted the above, I read through the two days I missed.

Everyone is walking into the bedroom asking, "Dad what is so funny?!""

I'm still giggling.

Come through Phoenix Mary and DW and I will take you and Laree & Shane out to dinner.

I've got to get a religion lesson ready for seminary students tomorrow morning so I'm off for the night.

Thanks for the laughs.

Mary, congrats on the new ride and the prospect of living without pain.

Kathy your Icelandics are also breathtaking.

And I'm glad I'm not the only one who stresses over hatching eggs.....
