Icelandic Chickens

I'm hoping that by Sunday, Kathy will have two gorgeous little emus to run around the wide expanse of her backyard!!

NO! She needs a female and a male. You know how she likes to incubate!

I like 21 day incubations ONLY.

If I did emu eggs often, I would be crazier than I already am.
This waiting and worrying is INSANE ! !

I'm already trying to figure out a way to call in sick on Friday.
HOW could I possibly leave those eggs unattended????

Jake, I bought two chicks a week older than the one I hatched. I bought them from a local guy. I had them DNA sexed and they were both girls!

I can hardly wait until we have some blooms here! The next couple of day are not bad but the long range forecast is looking great!
