Hi everyone, it has been quite a while since I've been on here, my Icelandics are grown, they are all beautiful, ended up with a pair of Blue/Grey, pair of Black Breasted Red looking, and a Grey cock with BB Red hen, they are laying very well, even when I moved them to pair pens, I have not had one go broody yet, but, I have some Game hens getting broody and think I may set some Icelandic eggs under one, I am suppose to be acquiring three more Icelandic hens from a friend here in Oklahoma that is moving to Texas this weekend, will try to get around a get some pics of all of mine and post them, have a wonderful day all, Lynn in Okla.

Your money has been refunded. Next time you might want do more research. The feathering issue with Icelandics has been under discussion for years, not just on BYC and my website, but Facebook and Yahoo groups as well.

Regarding your only hatching six chicks, I have not had an infertile egg in over a year. Perhaps the package received rough handling by the post office or there was a problem with incubation. In either event, if you were unhappy the polite thing to do would have been to contact me via PM and let me know.

Enjoy your Icelandics. They are wonderful birds.

Mary
Mary that was a really nice thing to do. I know that you are very open about the fray gene, and no one can control the PO.
