I'm so sorry Kathy.
I've lost 2 of my Icelandics as well, both pullets. Both flew out of my run, which is not covered. One my dog unfortunately "played with". The other I don't know what happened, just *poof* gone. But I do know she got out and has been several times. They do well here as long as they stay in the run............but when they get out, they take their chances with all the wildlife around here.
