Icelandic Chickens

Okay, I just finished a batch of apricot jam. The fruit was ready, it was either drag out the canning kettle, or have some very happy chickens in a couple of days. Of course, lots of time I prep the fruit and freeze it. It's so much nicer to can in the winter when it's cool. I love to be in the kitchen when it's cold and gray outside.

Now, time to go outside and just watch the chickens walk around!
