Yeah, where is a relative word for me, this is a major tourist area now and priced accordingly, I am going up to Fairbanks area in 3 weeks and long around.

Will spend some time up there and if it doesnt pan out will head back south to MI and call it a good vacation.

I am in Talkeetna, AK, about 50 miles north of Wasilla, looking for a cabin to rent , or start building one. Sure miss the chats here.

My Icelandic flock had a busy day. They raided the non-Icelandic coop:

Then they pillaged the construction zone:




I had put up orange construction fence to keep the chickens away on Friday when the footer was poured.
It worked until today, when the Icelandics walked around the house to get there.
