Icelandic/landrace questions

I have not hatched eggs before.

I have 2 Icelandic cockerels I would like to breed in the future. They both have Rose combs. I don’t particularly care for that look. Pics included.

Because Icelandics are a landrace, I should not expect all hatched cockerels to have the Rose comb. They will have all kinds of combs. Is that correct?

Rose combs are dominant. You probably have a homozygous rose combed bird out there.
It is likely that your males carry single combed genes so more will emerge in later generations if you breed these.
