ID bantam chick

I bought this bantam chick from my local feed store, lady said it's a old english bantam. Can someone help me ID this chick please & thank you.

I think that it is an old English game, just buff without the black tail. Maybe the tail feathers were pulled out.
 
From these photos, which may simply be the photo angles, I am not seeing OEGB, not pure breed game...the legs are really stocky and the wing tips do not dip below the body line as a game should, nor does it have a particularly refined game head....but that may again be photo angle.

OEGB come in many colors, only one of which is wheaten which is gold with black trimmed tail. There is a white tailed buff, and that would fit this color pattern.

I'm not sure what it is...it may be a mix. What color are its legs? It appears light grey, or is that photo shadow? If they are white-beige, then it may be a bantam Buff Orpington.

It is a rooster. At that age with that much red comb.
