I'd like to see photos of adult mix breed chickens.

I originally got my bantams because they, I was told, the roosters didn't crow as loudly as standard breeds.. This as you know is not true. Brody is twice as loud as BCM was.

Before i lost my gold laced Cochin hen, i was getting 5 small / medium eggs a week.

My Black Copper Marians rooster sired all of my chicks last year, out of 7 hens of various breeds..all chicks came black except one. That one was a cockeral, and his mother was a Cuckoo Marans hen.

Can I hope for feathered legs at least?

I believe one or two had slightly feathered legs. I wouldn't count on it. A couple of the pullets had the hen markings on their necks. I only kept two out of about 20

chicks because I just did not have room for that many. They are lovely. One is out of the Cuckoo hen, and the other is out of my game hen. Both are black, and have no feathering on their legs.

Well all the babies are here 3 of 4 hatched. All look like black copper Marans chicks even though they are mix breeds. All are feather legged , the brahma mix has heavy leg feathering.

What a gorgeous color.what mix is he?
It looks like my babies are going to be black except the one I think is a male and he is barred. I think the breeds I have will only produce black and or barred chicks.

no clue but he is what you get when cross a RSL with a RSL which a RSL is a cross sooo yeah!
