Should I be concerned about the blood in the shell? Seems yolk is absorbed

Can you set your alarm half way through the night? My last chick that hatched, had a pip for 3 days. It was the longest 36 hours of my life.

There's always a little pinkish blood and waste (poop) in the bottom of the shell. Once they start zipping, it goes really fast. Most zip in 30 mins or less! Keep posting! That's what we're here for!!

well none of my eggs made it They didn't look the right size for lockdown either so I'm pretty sure the incubator was without power for at least a few days . Now I'm having trouble finding more WH eggs, so I might be out of luck for the year.
