Thank you I'm thinking he is a mix too I may get some eggs from him and put them under a broody hen the next time one of them goes that way I don't have an incubator but Might purchase one. Any idea what kind of brooder I should get there seem to be so many choices. It would be interesting to see what kind of chicks hatched from him.

Yes it does sound funny He could be the daddy though for one of my hens next brood. What could I call the chicks though The mix um up breed. lol.

Thank you the person I got him from had Islandic chickens and another breed called Flower something I can't remember the second part of the name. I really don't know what he is other then a bantum chicken of some kind.
