Idaho?

Thanks. It was a bit of work. I built it almost entirely out of re-purposed material. Most of it from pallets that I got for free.

I've been looking for free pallets here in Boise, but it seems like everyone here wants to sell them.

To bad you aren't on this side of the state. Where I work, we get shipments daily. We have at least 3-4 stacks of pallets about 15 feet high. You could take as many as you needed

Well if anyone in the Treasure Valley has some leads on where I can get some free ones, please let me know.

Hi all,

I don't know if this is in the right spot, but I'm looking for someone in the Treasure Valley that might have a Wheaten or Buff Wheaten Ameraucana roo for sale. I'd be looking for one later in the year when the chicks I'll get (from a gal in the Rupert/Burley area) are old enough for breeding. I don't want to start off breeding brother to sister although I understand that that can be done. I may have a reliable incubator by then and could try some shipped eggs, but it would be nice not to ship, you know? :)

Thanks!
Sarita

Okay, I have to share. I'm setting up a tote brooder tower (6 totes per tower) so I can separate my chicks for customer pickup. To make things easy I setup my feeders/drinkers on the outside of the totes so I can re-fill easily without reaching inside. The bonus is that there is room for more chicks per tote this way. On top of that, I'm upgrading my growout brooders and pens. My gallon size feeders/drinkers go in a portable caddy diner on the inside of my growout pens so I have to reach in to take care of those, but it's only a matter of unscrewing the lid and filling from the top. No poopy water.....EVER AGAIN!
