Okay Rick, I need to figure out how to get some birds from you. Michelle, I have a friend who said he is going to come from Albion to get some birds from you. So, as soon as he can commit I will email you and see if you have any birds to sell. I do appreciate your help with your emails.
This is Quane.

Hey Quane! Happy to help out.  :)

Birdguy: I think my Lavendar Amer. roo I promised you might be a girl. I will let you know.....planning on bringing it to chickenstock for you if it really is a boy.

If anybody wants an EE boy I have one of those though!! Cute, dark brown and white. Will get a pic up in the next day or two. Might have two. Have some chicks hatching this week (hopefully) so I need to get my boys out of the coop, move my teens into the coop and out of the brooder, to make room for my newbies :)

Hey Michelle I see you there! I am sooo excited to get my eggs next week, thanks a ton for helping me. I have been driving to Orem to get chicks (a few times now), about a 2 hour drive, so saving me the drive to your place will keep my DH happy and he will not think I have lost my mind ( well mostly anyway)! :weee

I'll put your box together in the morning, Lisa. I think I'll have a nice assortment. I'm hoping for just a few more eggs from my best wheaten ameraucana hens.

Ohhhh, first time with shipped eggs? Shipped eggs make me nervous. LOL. They aren't as easy as those collected at home, but sometimes it's the only way to go. Make sure to let them rest at room temperature in an egg carton (room temperature) for 24 hours before putting into your incubator. Your eggs are fresh, so a bit of a wait won't hurt them. Settling helps them recover from shipping stress. I'm heading to the post office with your eggs in about 30 minutes. :)

Nervous-me too. I knew to let them rest----I will do that for sure ;) Something about air cells settling/re-attaching right? Glad the weather is a bit warmer today too. Hopefully it is getting warm enough they will be ok. Thanks for the update!
