Idaho?

Cheryl... would love to see updated pics of your chickies=)

I will try to get updated photos of them today. They don't come out much with the cold. But little mama hen has kept them alive & well during all this extreme cold we've had!

my new and injured (my hens attacked him) rooster Wizard all snuggled up in a towel after I doctored his wounds. I had to put him in a laundry basket in the bathroom while I cleaned his "sick bay", he was sleeping until I disturbed him.

My FBCM finallly decided to start laying again today!! Check out this beauty!!

L to R Easter egger, Blue Wheaten Ameraucana, FCBM, Icelandic, & Delaware... the one in the center is also a Delaware... it is weird cuz it is almost white until you get it wet and then it is brown but it dries back white!!!

That is awesome, beautiful eggs.

Wow, pretty eggs!! My Delawares do lay eggs with that much bloom... one of them lays eggs with spots.. I need to take a pic...

Thanks for posting the pics Icy!! Since they are kind of mutts (well, not totally, they should be OE's, but I don't know the background of the EE hens), I've been really curious to see how they feather out..

So sorry about your eggs squeaky... that is sooo frustrating!!

Let's see if I can get a pic up of my chickies that half siblings to the ones I gave to Icy, well I guess they could be whole siblings, don't know for sure....

They hopped up on that crate, so there's the pic... The one on the left should be an OE, looks like it's trying to be blue.. The one on the right hatched from a Delaware egg....

Anybody looking for started pullets for their layer flock? I have two young pullets out of one of my project pens that I can't use. They will feather similar to a wheaten marans but have slate colored legs. Very pretty. They hatched December 22nd and are fully feathered. They will lay medium dark to dark colored eggs. $15.00 each. I might have some barred pullets available soon as well.
