Idaho?

Yah, down side of small town living is that sometimes the dumbest things are crazy expensive. The cheapest styrofoam cooler I could find was tiny and cost $30, so I was hoping and praying with an incubator made from a Sterilite container. My nephew went into the back room where I was keeping the incubator and turned the thermostat all the way up so without it being insulated to outside temperatures it spiked.

Just a couple cute baby pics... taking a pic of all 31 seemed daunting. These re two of the cuteist!

Ok so I think I have a persnickety rooster... he has to have everything just right, for example: at night if it isn't quiet and pitch black he complains, if I don't have his waterer in the sickbay with him right after I clean it and put fresh bedding down he complains until I refill it with clean water and put it in there with him, if the food dish I feed him is in his way to get to the door (he likes to look out the door on the carrier) he clucks at me to move it and if I tell him to hold on (yes I talk to all my animals especially him) he will cluck rather loudly at me and then kick it to the other side of the carrier so he can get to his "view" and the blanket I use to cover the carrier to keep him warm (especially when I set his sick bay outside so he can get some fresh air) has to be on the carrier just right he clucks at me until I fix it. I think he is spoiled, what do you guys think.

What's the problem? It looks like he has you perfectly trained.

Adorable! What kind are they?
Number one, my guess is Welsummer Maran, number 2 is for sure from my Light Brahama hen, but daddy could either be a FBCM or a EE. I just don't see anything of either of them. As they grow a bit, I hopefully will be able to make better guesses. They're all from my mixed flock with the two roos over them and a neighbors who has just as crazy a mix. It's kinda like Baskin Robbins around here, but my 31 flavors are all a mystery!!!!

Susan, somehow I missed the pics of your chicks!! Cute!! Barnyard baskin robbins mixes are always so fun and colorful!!

Mo... I agree with Michelle.. sounds like your rooster has you perfectly trained, lol=)

I seriously should not post with my phone.. just a little detail, but on that previous post I was trying to tell birdguy that my Delawares's eggs do NOT have bloom... sheesh... but one of them lays eggs with spots.. reddish egg... I think they're my favorite, can't wait for the FBCM's to get with the program and lay...
