Idaho?

The chicks all look like hens but I am a little worried about the black one. It might just be the angle but it kinda looks a little rooish. LOL Just a little.
No, no, NO! Hehehe!

However looking at them with a more critical eye the black one does seem to be the larger of the three.

One of you wouldn't happen to raise Welsummers would you?

And do you know if the CAL Ranch in Idaho Falls has a list of when they will be getting which breeds in? Was tempted to get some Australorps when I was there on the 2nd but decided I had better wait to see how my hatch goes. Because of the problem with the turner the first week, I doubt all 7 of the eggs I can't see in are going to hatch, leaving me with only 2 that I'm sure are growing.

I went back and looked at the other picture and I see a little gold coming in around the neck. Not under the chin but on some neck feathers on the side and some pointy feathers ( I think) around the tail area. I hope I am wrong for you. but look at the legs. Are they stockier than the others? I am not sure about that. That is another sign.

Some babies in my grow out pen. The graduated from the barn and now get to enjoy the sunshine.

Cute!! Love the Golden Cuckoos. Mine will be 8 weeks old next weekend, so I'll be working on some outdoor space for them this week... I'm not quite ready to send them out to the grow out yet, it's needing a little more security for ones this little yet.

I really like the cuckoos. For my GCM, the first thing I'm working on is bigger size and correct conformation. So many GC out there are kinda small looking. I like my marans beefy.

I am way behind on this forum, trying to catch up. I would love another Polish!! I have to come to Boise soon to pick up a couple of started pullets anyway. Do you still have any Polish left?

I will have extra mottled houdans and white polish if anybody is interested. Also they sent several roosters for warmth, they look big so I am thinking they may be cornish...if anyone wants them let me know, they are free!
