Jubilee Orp's would be cool to add to my other orps, but at the moment I don't have the space...if only I had one more coop and run built. Maybe in the future I will have the space and the funds to expand.

How is the little blue Bantam Cochin doing that I gave you?
does she still look like a pullet?
These are English imports. I think there is a breeder who made them from scratch starting with speckled sussex and buff orpingtons as well. I don't remember who it is.how do you get a Jubilee Orp? those are gorgeous *as I slap my hand... must not think of chickens*
Great! I hope I hatch enough for somebody to go forward with this color. I DO NOT need another breed but it would be cool to have these in Idaho/Utah in case I need more. LOLHi Michelle![]()
I'll certainly make the drive to get the Ameraucanas!!
Thanks for the heads up on these.
Christina
Sure do! I raise muscovy ducks. I have eggs in my incubator, eggs under a broody, and hatching eggs as well. I LOVE muscovy ducks.Does anyone in the Idaho area breed / sell ducklings / hatching duck eggs? I am just curious... we aren't adding any time soon but when we do I do want to know who I can contact! : )
Wow, I am very late seeing this post!! My BCM's lay, on average, every other day, and they occasionally take short breaks.. they were winter hardy, my roo lost just the very points on his comb, and that's with the -18 temps we had and no supplemental heat...
Color of chicken doesn't influence the color of eggs it will lay![]()
Ohhh.. I can definitely see the chicken potential!!
Is that from one of my eggs??? I haven't hatched a white one yet, fun!!
Jub orp?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?! I need to get on your waiting list NOW for a pullet![]()
I hope that polish chick is a boy for you!! It had the cutest personality in the 24 hours I had him!!
Great! I hope I hatch enough for somebody to go forward with this color. I DO NOT need another breed but it would be cool to have these in Idaho/Utah in case I need more. LOL
