Idaho?

So I decided to do this after I brought home 4 new orps yesterday and now I have two black that look VERY much alike! This will help me tell them apart for awhile til I learn to notice their little differences. But I'm not going to lie I LOVE IT! HAHAH

Looks like we'll be making the trek westward in august! We will be moving to Idaho Falls. We are going to have to sell our whole flock here and start over when we get there.

We have a pretty large mixed flock as of right now, but we can only have 6 in Idaho.

What 6 would you keep in your flock? What do I need to know about keeping chickens in the cold and snow?

I have 3 kids 12, 9 and 3.5

We love our chickies though =o)

light brown leghorn
speckled sussex mix
blue laced red wyandotte mix
dominique mix
light brahmas
gold laced wyandotte

my very favorites are the brahmas, cochins, and the gold laced wyandottes
