Idaho?

Hey everyone! Anyone in the Nampa area want a duck and drake pair? They're a bonded pair of buffs and are a year old. She lays well and is a good broody. He's an excellent protector... Held off the neighbor's dog when it dug into our yard and saved the duck from a hawk attack.

I'm looking to rehome them because I have too many ducks right now.

I would, but I cant. My grandfather is moving in with us and has a poultry allergy

What's your price?

Well I already have chickens but I have a small pond that wild mallards visit once in awhile. It seems like ducks are difficult to keep even with already having a pond

I do have to change their pool once a day, so that does make it a little more work than my chickens. Other than that, they're pretty easy since they free-range the backyard.

But the drake would definitely run off your wild mallards (he always chases the mallards that land in my yard:)

I put them on craigslist, hopefully I'll find someone to take them there.
Thanks for considering!

I'd love having them but I don't think I have coop space. :hit. Do they require a roof? anyway, good luck!

Hello Idaho!

I am in Payette and we have Narragansett turkeys we have been enjoying for about 2.5 years and then some mixed bantams. Recently I have hatched 5 Silkie chicks. First time having them and loving it! I hope we end up with only one rooster but hard to know. Got the eggs from a show breeder and they were hatched on July 3rd, 4th and 5th. Added some pics below. We also enjoy the company of 3 dogs and 2 cats.
I grew up in Boise, lived in Nampa, Meridian, Kuna, Garden City before settling here.
Anyone nearer than Parma who sells silkie chicks or hatching eggs? I am adoring the babies atm but want to be able to add to my little flock as needed.
