I am from Ririe and am still there. Right on the River and good fishing all around. Pocatello is only 1 hour away. but I am a beginner in birds but I know a few bird guys here, on raises exotic phesants, swans, turkeys, and other birds, no chickens, the other is mainly turkeys and some chuckars and ringneck phesants.

I was born & raised in Idaho I always say I want to move back, at least for the last 24 years. We now live only 10 miles from the border but just havnt had the oppertunity to move. We love ID. and do all our outdoor activities there Will move back some day good lord willin!

anyone from my part of idaho coming to the state fair in blackfoot?? i would love to meet some more BYC members!!! we will be there the whole time september 4th to the 11th!! in the draft horse barn. we are taking 12 miniatures!! come see us!!! we show on the 5th in the west arena so that is our busiest day!! Rathdrum, Idaho!!!! Currently trying to pass an ordinance allowing chickens!

I would encourage any of you who may live in Rathdrum to show up at the city council meeting on Nov. 9th in support of us allowing chickens in the city limits. It's just crazy to me that Coeur d' Alene allows them but we don't! I'm hoping and praying that this passes. My girls will be devastated if we have to give them away!
