Idea for dealing with political & armageddon threads

Wouldn't Nifty be making himself into the biggest tattletale of them all if he told who the top 10 were?

The Freedom of Information act means that all tattletaleismry on public access information systems (such as this forum conveyed to you on a series of tubes) is in the public domain, therefore as American citizens, citizens of the greatest democracy in the Universe, we have the birthright to know.

Back me up, Bluey!

I can't imagine the magnitude of the job of keeping us all in line. I have seen some pretty terse folks recently. Maybe it's the change in the weather. I was talking to someone recently and we were discussing the old days... How it was considered rude to ask people their religion, religious preference or how much they made. Now it seems like everything is open for discussion. The last time I voted they asked me my affiliation and my voting card was color-coded to indicate my preference. How private is THAT? I might as well take out a billboard on the highway and announce it myself. Then there are hte folks that come up to you and exclaim loudly, "You're not voting for (insert name of any recent idiot candidate here), are you?" I am fed up with it. Somethings need to be kept out of the front row. remember when bra commercials were considered risque when they showed and actual bra on a mannequin? Now we have the Victoria Secret chicks shaking their T and A all over the place... wouldn't grandma be proud? And flying maxi-pads? C'mon give it a rest already. Maybe I am too old already... I like that everyone really seems to get along here..politics or no... save the arguments for the pundits... they need something to do.

OR People could follow the rules and listen to what mods say, they work hard and no one seems to want to respect them, SO no they don't deserve a separate little section, they can follow the few rules this site has.

For the most part people here do follow the rules. There are times when people post without thinking what the rules are, or the audience. In these cases a simple PM reminder takes care of it.

The REPORT button helps make this site what it is and I personally thank those that have used it to help us keep BYC a forum people can come to and enjoy.

Yes I understand Kstaven most people do the follow the rules, but I dont know how they cant remember that politics are not allowed here, it seems like 1 or 2 politic threads a day are closed down! I have no problem with politics its just I come here to get away from it all! I love BYC!
