I can't imagine the magnitude of the job of keeping us all in line. I have seen some pretty terse folks recently. Maybe it's the change in the weather. I was talking to someone recently and we were discussing the old days... How it was considered rude to ask people their religion, religious preference or how much they made. Now it seems like everything is open for discussion. The last time I voted they asked me my affiliation and my voting card was color-coded to indicate my preference. How private is THAT? I might as well take out a billboard on the highway and announce it myself. Then there are hte folks that come up to you and exclaim loudly, "You're not voting for (insert name of any recent idiot candidate here), are you?" I am fed up with it. Somethings need to be kept out of the front row. remember when bra commercials were considered risque when they showed and actual bra on a mannequin? Now we have the Victoria Secret chicks shaking their T and A all over the place... wouldn't grandma be proud? And flying maxi-pads? C'mon give it a rest already. Maybe I am too old already... I like that everyone really seems to get along here..politics or no... save the arguments for the pundits... they need something to do.
