My last group of chicks were still downy on the heads at 4 weeks. By 5 weeks feathering was noticeable, about 40% coverage on heads. At 6 weeks their heads were almost completely feathered in.

Ok so off of that they are just under a month old then. They just look older to me now.Chicks pics look to be a day or three old.
Yeah, that's why I'm confused. If they were only a few days old when I got them then they are just under 4 weeks. But they look much older.i though most aren't fully feathered till 8 weeks but those look to be fairly done .
