My wife is big into photography. She runs a Canon 40D and a 430 EX flash.

Ah! Nice. DH teaches photography at PHHS but even he doesn't have a camera that gets shots like that.
Get those fuzzy butts on some paper toweling and their little legs will be happier.

Cheep cheep cheep cheep cheep cheep! That all I'm hearing. LOL Their not cold just jumpy every time someone sticks their nose in the brooder. IE: Wife, kids, dogs....... ME! I cant get enough of them.

I did notice Ideal shorted me some chicks. I called and left them a message, hopefully they will call me back in the morning to straighten it out. Has anyone had any problems with Ideal?

Nice brooder! Chicks come and go but a good brooder lasts forever.

Just got my order from ideal this morning. Have enjoyed working with them and they sent me 7 RIR's for packing. That made the total 19. I would deal with them again.
