Iknow I ordered 25 Spitzhaubens with expected ship of April 14th. I am supposed to collect more orders from friends, can I include on this order? What would I need to do to combine orders so I can have all in one ship of various breeds shared orders.

Let me know if it is possible and what you need for me to do to add more chicks to the existing order I already have?

I had to call to add more to my order heres the number 1-800-243-3257
They will add as many as you want as long as they are available and can be shipped on the same date.

Thats why i have 2 separate orders the dominiques and blue laced red wyandottes couldn't be shipped with my first order because they wouldn't be available at that time.

Keep the questions coming.

Yes, we do ship ducks and chicks together.

It's easy to add to an order. Just give us a call and we will add to it. If the breeds you are ordering for the other person look similar just ask us to box them by name (PO) and we will be glad to do that.

Availability on D'uccles is fine at this time.

Here are a few breeds that we have already put on a wait list. Once we begin to get eggs in about 3 weeks from some of these breeds we will know more about their availability but at this time based on 'guesses' we think we are sold out till the end of April or May.

Barnevelders
Spitzhauben
Blue Andalusian
Gold Campine
Columbian Wyandotte
Buff Wyandotte

Thanks for all of the comments

Teri, I would like to thank you for your participation and support of BYC. I would like to make some statements and ask a question. If you hang around here a bit you will notice there is often a lot of debate about easter eggers and ameraucanas. You will find that there are alot of people who purchase ameraucanas from hatcheries only to find out later they are easter eggers. Some get very upset by this fact and feel belittled by the person trying to explain to them they have a mixed breed bird. Some are just plain disappointed when their birds lay a pinkish/brown egg.

Based on the Ameraucana Breeders Club and the American Poultry Association's description of ameraucanas, some of the attributes they must exhibit are a pea comb, muffs and beards, laying a blue to minty green egg, have bay eyes and white skin. They only come in the colors blue, black, white, buff, silver, wheaten, blue wheaten and brown red as stated here http://ameraucana.org/standard.html . Based on this, I'm wondering if the ameraucanas you sell fit this classification or if they fall under "easter eggers"?

And if in fact they are easter eggers, would you consider changing your advertising to reflect their true classification?

Also, please don't take offense to labeling birds that don't fit the standards as easter eggers. Easter eggers are a very wonderful, hardy breed. They lay well, they live long and produce a variety of different plumage on their offspring. I have found them to be a good breed for beginers and experienced chicken owners.

Thanks,
