I thought I was the only one thinking of what I want next lol. Glad to see I am not the only one. Cj I hope we both have better luck with the replacements . I also felt bad but at the same time I paid $53.00 for 13 chicks and lost 7 . I am just so pleased they have the 4 day policy. I will buy from them again in the future.. When I can talk my husband into more lol.

4 mottled japenese
5 assorted d'uccles
4 danish leghorn pullets
4 white leghorn pullets
1 danish leghorn cockerall
and 2 golden laced wyndotte
NOW I DEMAND YOU GUYS POST PICS TO GIVE ME STRENGTH THROUGH THIS LONG AND TERRIBLE WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and I have a question...with this size order how many packing peanuts do you think i will get? and what breed are usually peanut packers?

Cremesoda, keep us posted. You'll get your chicks a week before me. Now I'm worried the packing peanuts will trample the new ones. I didn't think to ask Ideal about the size difference between the breeds I ordered and the packing peanuts.

rsleghornchicki - ditto, let us know how your chics are when you get them. I got exactly enough peanuts to bring my order to 25 chicks. It may be a few weeks before I figure out what my peanuts are.

here is one of the gray silkies it looks like a chipmunk, b.c white polish and to packing peanuts, they are the black ones and they are different, one has white dot on head and white tip wing and white under belly and the other is all black with just a little white blotching on neck area. no idea what they are.

I recieved an e-mail from ideal a little while ago stating my orderd has shipped but the ship date it has says the 15th which is tomorrow so friday again they will be here. keeping my fingers crossed all make it this time. I will let you know friday. I hope since the weather is and will be much warmer than last time they won't put as many peanuts.Guess I will find out friday. I am still trying to give away the peanuts I have now. I put them on craigslist for free and still no takers. Maybe I can find a chicken refuge somewhere that will take them.

Ideal sent me an email saying my chicks would ship on the 8th, on the 7th. Well they shipped on the 7th cause I got them on the 9th! So I would plan on getting them a day sooner.
