Ideal poultry's bantam special (what did you get?)

A lot! More than half have feathered legs. There is one really cute teeny, tiny, clean legged, chipmunky looking one that I think is my favorite already. It is the smallest one in there but she was hopping here and there and everwhere! Then when she settled down, one of the bigger fluffy chicks tried to burrow under her. Then another... so she stood there, soaking up the warmth with her teeny wings spread out over her buddies backs... it was so cute!

Mine are about 4 weeks now, and that chipmunk one may be a old english game bantam... i have about 5 in my batch... i dont like that breed much, so I'm gonna try to sell them while they are still young, i know 2 are roos

It probably is an OEGB. I had those before and while I liked the hens, the roos were a little hit or miss... I had 1 out of 4 that wasnt pure evil. If its a girl, I'll probably keep her anyway.

I was guessing most of the clean legged ones are OEGBs simply cuz Ideal has about a bazillion colors of them LOL. I didnt see any crests, so I doubt I have any polishes.... the BO and BR banties are sold out till April (those are what I really want though).

There are quite a few with grey (blue?) bodies with yellow heads. I think they are interesting too. And there is one black one with clean black legs... ohhhhh I have to get pics this afternoon. But right now I have to go to work

I wanna stay home with my new babies LOL.

OK.. after checking tonight.... I have 3 Silkies and one possible EEer with greyish/greenish legs. Of the 31 they sent, only 6 had clean legs, the rest are all feather legged. Considering I really am not crazy about feathered legs, these little things are SOOOOOOO cute.. they will probably grow on me.

There were 3 weak ones when I got them out of the box. The first one died this afternoon while I was at work. The second is right now dying in hubby's hands. He refuses to let her die alone in the brooder (so much for his tough guy image). And the third is still weak, but is at least eating and drinking. The first 2 were the blue bodied/ yellow head colored chicks that I got so many of, and the last one looks like my favorite feisty chipmunky one ( I got 2 of those).

They didnt cooperate too much for pics. And I will post individual ones in the "guess the breed" section.

for sure the second one from the left is a Silkie possibly Ideal's version of a red or a faint partridge the third I would say a EE or possibly one of the ligher OEGB cant tell if there is a beard or not

I got the bantam special on Tuesday! I asked for all clean legged (I would SOO love some feather feeties but my DH *hates* them because they aren't good flyers

we ALL must have flying chickens, you know

) and the ones I got are too cute! I have no clue what any of them are, I was secretly hoping for a modern or two but I don't think I got any. Probably some OEGB and japanese.

Anyone have updated pics from the special or a count on what they got? We know we have 11 Silkies, black, white and partridge. 4 cochin, red and buff. 1 frizzle red cochin. The others I still have no idea.

I ordered all clean legged, got a few OEGB, several japanese, SEVERAL cornish (little fatties!), and a polish! I needed me another Fro-head
