I have electric net fencing surrounding my secure run and I found it worked well in a foot or so of dry powdery snow. Once the snow got wet it sucked the power out fast so i have to shovel it out. (I only have a solar charger on it). It's only 100' long so it's not too bad. A bobcat did jump right over it and feasted on one of my ducks last week. But works great on dogs and hoping that bobcat got a taste of the fence too and won't be back!Would electric poultry netting be rendered useless in 2ft or more of snow? If not I could use that surrounding any fence really to stop almost anything from getting to the actual fence.
