ideal runners mixed? *pic added, choc too :)

I already got the choc runners and cayugas from metzer. I am setting up a pen around my garden for the Ideal runners. I won't sell hatching eggs from them though... I wouldn't pass on questionable stock

they are fun no matter what

Thanks, I too wish you were closer. I am actually trying to talk DH into moving up to that neck of the woods, so maybe some day.

I have someone coming tomorrow that seems pretty good. Already has chickens and has been researching for a while.
But regardless, I was lucky enough to find a BYCer in my area that is going to a BYC swap on Saturday a bit north of me and agreed to take whatever I have left with her.

So, love BYCers.

You expect hatchery quality from a hatchery, but those don't look like there is any Runner in them at all. (Except the blue one in the middle)

I wonder if the hatchery sent you something else by mistake? Although, I can't see what breed they might be. They look like a mix.

However, they are very pretty and all ducks are cheerful and fun to be around.
