Ideal size for laying boxes

What is the ideal size for laying boxes? I have to redo my chicken house and need more boxes what is the ideal size for the boxes i am thinking 15x15 square. Any ideas will help.

Mine are 16 wide, 14 deep, and 12 high, with a 45 degree angled top so they can't roost/poop on top of them.

All of my boxes are 12 inch sq. and I have 10 nesting boxes.

thanks guys, I was just wondering if there was a standard size i guess it is just what you prefer.

From my understanding it depends on the breed size of your hens. I am going with larger 14" wide because I have Light Brahmas and other large breeds. Only a couple of mine are smaller so they'll just have adjust to the larger nest boxes.
