I've hatched chicken eggs before and we used 99.5 and 50-60% humidity. I've tried to look up the differences between chicken and duck incubating but there seems to be a a lot of disagreement. Some say 101 degrees, some say 99.5 like chicks, but also to turn it down to 98.5 at lock down. Some humidities I've read were 50% days 1-25 65% at lock down and 80% at first pip, but I've also read its supposed to be 86% the whole time. Basically I'm just confused at all the contradictions. I'm using a Little Giant Still Air bator and hatching some Khaki Campbells, Indian Runners, and Pekins. Any advice from people who've actually done it would be appreciated thanks :)

I have incubated duck eggs in a forced egg incubator. But only once.

I tried to aim for 100 degrees and I think 60 to 70% during incubation, and as high as I could manage during hatch.

But if you read everything, you will notice that no one agrees in regards to incubation, either with ducks or with chickens.

At this point, would I incubate ducks again.....I would try at the 50% during the first part, and then very high for both lock down and hatch.

But that is because I am now a convert to dry incubation with chicken eggs, and I think that regimen would be the equivalent but for ducks.
